The product and engineering teams at M-TRIBES keep working on new features and product enhancements. Here's an overview of what's coming next and what’s recently launched.
Features to become available in the next app versions or with the platform update.
Initially, the M-TOOLS platform only allowed building driver tours out of bookings without payment methods defined. We're now making it available for tenants with "Pay by invoice" payment method enabled. Contact our support if you would like to enable the driver tours feature.
The sharing_booking.event.tracked event gets issued when there is a change in a booking state. The event also contains information about the zones that the corresponding vehicle was in when the event was tracked.
Until now, our sharing apps had only two payment methods: credit cards and SEPA Direct Debit. To offer riders more variety of options, we're introducing support for PayPal, a dominating payment provider for certain markets.
Features in development.
A dispatcher will be able to filter bookings by service area. This will help individual dispatchers to only focus on bookings in the areas they're actively monitoring.
When looking for preferred drivers, a dispatcher will be able to filter the list of drivers by a service area of a booking. This will remove the guesswork from dispatching and ensure the request will be sent only to drivers who are around.
Customers as well as marketers will be able to add vouchers to customer profiles. This direct voucher distribution will allow tenants to further motivate customers to create new bookings.
With amount-based vouchers customers will be able to reduce the final price of a booking by an absolute amount instead of percentages.
Tenants will be able to decide whether drivers should receive all scheduled booking requests or only those that fit driver's capabilities. Alternatively, tenants will be able to let drivers decide this themselves.
Previously released features.
A dispatcher will be able to put newly created bookings on hold and make them visible to drivers only when they're ready to be dispatched. For example, after preferred drivers are selected. Contact our support if you would like to enable this feature.
A dispatcher will be able to split customer bookings into driver tours. This advanced dispatching feature will help with handling more complex logistics operations, for example, when a booking needs to be carried out by different drivers in separated pickup and drop-off tours spread across days. Contact our support if you would like to enable this feature.
A dispatcher will be able to end a booking on behalf of a driver via the dashboard. The feature will be initially rolled out to tenants without payment methods enabled.
That's not all — we have more features to come that will improve how you and your customers use the M-TOOLS platform every day.
